Bedliner kinda works for these.

That’s not bedliner?

as others have said, its bedliner, and I hate it. not only is is crazy heavy when you add it to everything, I just think it looks tacky and cheap.

but on a real off road rig i see the scratch resistance appeal to it, but this being a clean 4 door, I guessing the only off road it’s done is a Gravel driveway.

And, if you don’t hate body work yet, you’ll really hate it after trying to remove bedliner from all the surfaces first.

I got into a discussion with someone who was defending that bedlining their miata was a wise decision. sadly their defense was that my blue paint was ugly.
The only reason to bedline your car is if you hate yourself and enjoy scrapping it off with a putty knife when its time to do the bodywork and paint properly.

I love this. I have long threatened to get an off-road rig and give it a super light coat all over. I’d never bother with fixing body damage unless it affected the ability to drive, so it would be pretty much completely maintenance-free and highly protective against water/mud/etc. This is critical with a real off-road rig.
